**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

BF4 +3% ?

It depends a lot on map and settings - when I first fired it up on the new drivers I was on my normal settings which are a mix of settings to maximise framerate and visual clarity and more CPU then GPU bound and the increase was pretty big in many situations - but changing to ultra sees a lot less of an increase.

Performance is def up for me. Seems across the board. I was already getting crazy high fps but now even higher :D

Ran some benches using old drivers last night and new drivers today.

An extra 300 points in 3DMark 11. very nice for a free boost.

Minimum FPS in BF4 is very important to me, right now with a user.cfg 80 FPS limit thats pretty much what i get all of the time no matter where i am. its always GPU bound.
In DX its up and down, in places as low as 40 FPS.

Do me a favour please.

Can you put everything on Low or Medium to get it CPU bound and stand here, compare the FPS with old and the new drivers, i know its a bit of a pain but it would help me to know what i might expect from these drivers with my rig.

Thanks :)

Good lord minimums in Rome 2 are loads better with these. So much so, I actually consider it to be playable now so I might give a campaign a go. Just tried the Carthage historical battle (huge city, two massive stacks + ships e.t.c, pretty much as big as its gonna get) and it never dropped below 25-30fps even with 1000's of dudes moving about on screen. Before it was a slide show when you zoomed in on loads of blokes.

Still looks like **** because they have no proper anti aliasing.....even though there is still a massive cpu bottleneck meaning my 2x670's are chilling out when they could be adding in some high amounts of anti aliasing. **** you CA.
