**THE NVIDIA DRIVERS THREAD**

Why 72fps if you don't mind me asking instead of 60fps?
Does that not cause lock-picking to be slightly sped up as well as movement?

For some reason it uses half of what mine and others with GSync's refresh rate is and mine is 144Hz. I have had no iddues lock picking either but when I did uncap it and it ran at well over 100 fps, I would get stuck at a terminal anytime I used it.

This time I let Geforce experience install so gave it a try as I havent used it in a long time. Took an age for it to actually launch when clicking on the icon, and then it doesnt manage to optimise any of my games either. Seems its still just as crap!

Gettting worse performance on these than the FO4 game ready drivers..
Previously it was 60fps constant now im getting drops in the city.

Thats on a gtx980 and an i7 2600k 4.5ghz.

If you haven't already, lower god rays / shadow distance. Hanging around large cities / towns is where I noticed a drop in fps.

Out of interest, what have people set in their NCP? Is this right, or could I improve it?

Why repeat what's 3 posts back? Just goto the previous drivers or take on the points mentioned and check those settings.... Maybe if you repeat it a third time a genie will appear and fix it for you!

Are you my genie? :p

The last driver or two have increased my gpu temps by about 10+ degrees, which is a shame as I was rather proud of the 20 - 25C idle 'performance'. :D

I'm still using the GTA5 drivers released the day the game came out. Anyone know if any drivers since have come with performance improvements for GTA5? I don't get any issues or bugs with these so don't want to chance it but if performance has likely improved since then it might be a good call?

GTX970 SLI. Not currently playing anything else....
