The Oblivion 360 Thread

says its been dispatched on gameplay, chose 2nd class postage though to be cheap so might not be here for friday. Suppose it gives me time to finish cod2 in the meantime.

Make a new thread please, don't want this getting taken off-topic :) - Davey

Got it midnight last night, Oz time at the xbox 360 launch. Played through the first inside section as quickly as possible to see the outside world, its gorgeous :)

Controls on the 360 are very intuitive for what in my book is a mouse and keyboard realm. Total play time of only about an hour so far, so I havent gone very far or done very much. But so far I'm happy :)

Also got the PC version at the same time, couldnt decide so I got em both! The interface is not as nice especially for dropping items, unless I missed the hot key. Havent read the manual yet :) Mouse and keyboard control as usual is more second nature. Again only spent 30 minutes blasting to get outside. Made me stop and look around for a while and the feeling of being in a very large open land works well for me.

Graphics, right now I'm preferring the 360, as compared to my 6800GT and AMD 3500+ PC. Time will tell which one I end up playing more of.

Looking forward to finishing work in a few hours and getting back to it :)

gameplay order sitting on desk at work

going to be a long day

Same here. I also have to do an hour of shelving after work today (volunteered for some extra cash), which means I can't leave work till 6pm. Is it sad that I brought the car with me today, so that when I leave work I can be home in 5 mins instead of a 30 min walk?

royal mail van just drove up the road.. i ran to the window in desperation, face and hands pressed to the glass with the condensation of my eagerly antipating breath partially obscuring my view. But he just carried on driving, how could he? The cruel cruel personthat is the Post Man just drove on by. O Oblivion, where for art thou?

That's awful mate!

I know I shouldn't, but I really laughed at that. I think anyone expecting a big delivery has done the same at some point (even worse when it's from a courier, every time you hear a van you think "this could be it!").

Had a phone call from electricians, they're not coming till late morning. Hoorah! Done all the housework and have made some cheese on toast, Oblivion is unwrapped and I'm ready to go.

I'm going in!
