I've created a Wood Elf (took quite some time to decide what to play) and 15 mins into the game my little girl is screaming so much it's come off and cbeebies is on.

So... chloroform or ebay her...

I'm playing @ 480P on a 32" SDTV and all looks good so far but I need to get outside!

And this is why I play my 360 on my 2405 - There's no way I can get access to the TV till the kids are in bed.
 
Mine arrived this morning. IMO this is karma for not only the postal strike, but a tardy GRAW. Collectors edition is really nicely packaged. I'm going to grab some breakfast then head in!

I'm disappointed with my game.net box; it looks like it's been crushed a bit :(

Still disk works and I doubt I'll ever sell it ...
 
lol dude i dont think so, a 360 is a standard theres no way it can look better on one than another. imo there is sommit funky about those shots, maybe they are post processed and put through TV_out, maybe on a REALLY uber PC set to ultra max. Almost everyone ive heard of play the 360 version has said "it looks nice but why doesnt it look like THAT?!" I assure you theres nothing wrong with your 360 as its impossible for that version to look different on 2 different machines except for the diff between 1080i 720i and SD. So if your on a 1080i TV and it doesnt look like that then his shots are lies.

yeah i understand. Its just with consoles it either works or it doesnt. There is no in between like with PC's because the game cant 'scale' so therefore if a peice of hardware was faulty or didnt work it'd show as an error or failure it wouldnt/couldnt downgrade or scale the graphics to compensate.

As said the only major hardware difference could be from a max 1080i telly.
 
2 copies arrived for me this morning at 9:50am, sold 1 by 10am.

Decided to watch pants TV instead, don't feel like starting it as I'm a little tired :(. Guess I'll have a go in a minute anyway.

It also has one of those mahoosive 15 age ratings on the front, they really annoy me! Even 90 year old grannies could read them without glasses!
 
I created a Dark Elf, Classed as a Pilgrim. I'm loving this so far and I've still not got outside. The only problem is, the electrician is here and they are drilling through walls right next to me, slightly distracting!
 
I've got it, but waiting for the new tv before i play it, so its sitting there looking pretty waiting for the damn delivery guy and his 10-12 delivery slot.

25 more minutes then i go postal as i've now unplugged all the hi-fi ready for the new telly.

and to add insult to injury got to go home to my mums for the weekend so its gonna lie there untouched.....

Grrrr, 4 hours play time just will not be enough.

I've been playing with the Character Creation tool online and I think I'll be creating a Dark Elf too, they have a nice mix of magic, archery and sword skills, so they should be a good all-round character. Add The Tower as my starsign, and I should be able to break in a few places too :D
