***The OcUK Bikers meet 2006. 12th of August***

Its a shame you cant attent mr flop.

I just had a new rear tyre fitted to I will have plenty of grip for the meet now instead of the battered old tyre I was running on earlier today!

Can some of the possible attendee's either conform or deny if they will be there as soon as they can :) I know its still 7 weeks away but I like to know who has changed their mind so we know how many to expect on the day :)

I am about as sure as I can be that I'll be coming along :D Just need to get myself into a b+b nearer the time and I'll be sorted.
I've also just ordered myself a set of Dymag 5 spoke carbon fibre wheels to be put on my bike:D It should take just under 6 weeks to get my order to me, so I'm hoping that I can have them fitted to my baby before I come down :p
I can't believe that one wheel alone weighs less than one standard brake disc for my bike

yep, should still be coming, thought i'd check the thread, hence the resurrection :)

Need to get some bike time in before this methinks, not ridden since.... oooooh, August

Definitely need to get my chain tightened and get a new oil filter and change the oil! I wonder if I'll have enough time to buy a new can and get it dynojetted..... :p

I have added you to the list luke :)

MrSix-Happy now?

Well I have ordered a new rear disk and new front pads, i cant afford the £180 at the moment for the new front disks, but once they are on my bike should be nice and quick at stopping. Also needs new chain and sprockets really as well :(

Many thanks. Now I have to rearrange my calendar and work out how to offload the wife onto someone else that day!!!

After the food we will then take ourselves down the road for a few miles to admire one anothers bikes out on the open road.

That's rather politically incorrect and discriminates against us off roaders :o

I'll hopefully getting my bike delivered back to me from the very nice people at KJM superbikes at the end of this week. I just need them to pop a new chain on it for me and we should be in business :D My beautiful new rims won't be making an appearance at the meet as the amount of orders coming in from teams for the Isle of Mann is causing a bit of a backlog :( Still I'll keep my fingers crossed and we'll see what happens. I'll need to get myself a decent rucksack ordered as a couple of Tesco carrier bags hanging from the bars with my skiddies flapping about won't really do anything for my street cred :D

I finally got the call from KJM superbikes to let me know that my bike's now ready, so all I have to do is try and arrange the time off tomorrow and I'll be there :D

Looks like i'll be coming with my mate on his babyblade, so I can hang off the back of that to take some action shots of you all...now just gotta find a way to see through the viewfinder with a helmet on :p

Excellent news Mr 7 :)

Unfortunately its looking more and more likely that I am going to have to give up biking for a year or 2 pretty soon, but dont worry I will be at the meet 100% :D We want some weather like we have had the past couple of days

Hi Guys,

im interested in getting into bikes and wondered if anyone might be kind enough to let me a be a passenger on one?

Ive never been on a bike before but always liked the idea of riding one with an engine!!!

:D

Jon

Can you get to the venue under your own steam and have you got a helmet you can bring along?

I will take you on the back if you can actually get to the meeting point first.
