Haven't looked at places to stay or anything like that yet. Might have to grab someone on MSN for advice.
If anyone needs a bed for the night i'm about a mile or so from centre of maidstone and have a spare room with futon and space for a double inflatable matress. So if anyone doesnt want to pay ott for a hotel then let me know.

Only 2.5 hours on the train, easy journey, there maybe someone comming your way though, you never know

If you want to be near to town and stay in a nice place which isn't too expensive then The White Rabbit is the way to go, 800yds from bowling 500yds from drinking. Its also 2 minutes from my place, which might be nice for those who don't want to go clubing but might like a nightcap.
The Travel Inn (usual facilities) at Sandling will be cheaper but is 1.8m from the town centre, as is The Village which has a pool and is a bit nicer than the Travel Inn, but I suspect slightly more expensive.
The Grange Moor is less than a mile away in the opposite direction

My parents stay there when they come to town (my mother has a bad back and need a proper bed not a futon) and they say its good value for money and very comfortable.
