Excellent.. cheers for the directions to yours, very helpful. Doesn't look too hard either (though knowing me I'll take at least 6 wrong turns along the way)

I can bring my spare tent if needed? Good for two people easily, or three if they're friendly ;)

Got a spare bag too, and liner if really desperate, but it's a four-season job so you would be rather toasty
 
We've almost got everything sorted :)

Got a tent from tesco, tis 3 man and came with sleeping bags and mats only £40ish I think. And it's a decent tent, we did try putting the tent up in my living room but there wasnt enough room as it has a small porch area too.

I mentioned to my mummy today that I wanted to have a look for cost effective camping cook ware, and I ended up coming home with a 2 person cooking set, a torch, a camping stove and 3 gas cannisters, so we might be offering cups of tea too ;)

Now all we need is food and booze. Oh, and to plan our route and decide whether we're going in convoy with the pigmo.
 
If anyones going past Hitchin, Stevenage, Baldock or somewhere round there..fancy a convoy?

Can't find my bluetooth gps receiver so I'm having to rely on the other half for directions...errrrrr....

May get there eventually...

I presume you are heading down the A1(M) ? If so huddy and I are heading from Chelmsford so we could meet you at south mimms services? I don't have gps, not sure about huddy. :)

Anyone got an online places that sell Clint Eastwood/Mexican style fancy dress?

Mental note - remember bread, bacon, sausages and eggs.. nothing like an early morning fry up!

Only on my phone - shouldn't be a problem.. I'm sure we'll need a few pitstops.

I think a lot will be going the same route - I'm going across the A120 to the M11, down it and then around the M25 so South Mimms could be a good meeting place to get the convoy running.

Its a radio technology for the GSM networks :)

GPS is global positioning :)
