Picked up a litre bottle of Caol Ila Distiller's Edition from CDG airport on the way back from Cameroon yesterday. A very nice whisky I've had a few times before. Looking forward to relaxing with a glass this evening

aberlour 10yr old, one of my favs, is £18 in morrisons which i blended prices. great whisky!

I find Aberlour nice enough if a tad ordinary but at £18, I may well have to pop into Morrison's tomorrow to pick a bottle up. Cheers for the tip 
Could try a Longmorn 16 yr or the Glenfarclas 15 yr is lovely as well, although the Glenfarclas might be too smokey again.

Got a bottle of Singleton Spey Cascade at Morrisons today - reduced to £26 (from £33.49). Nice whisky. Sweet and fruity and easy to drink. Would probably pair well with chocolate (I'd try it but I'm stuffed full of BBQ'd jerk chicken at the moment).

Just got a bottle of this stuff as a gift, I've had Auchentoshan 12yo before which I thought was lovely and mellow. So looking forward to trying this tonight.
I need to stop buying whisky when I see a good price. :3

Haven't had a bottle of Lagavullin for ages.
Picked up a new bourbon to try as well, both of those came from Amazon lightning deals.
Nikka from the Barrel at the airport on my way back from Germany. 32€ which seemed good.
Glenlivet and Haig Club Were good price in Costco, just got the Haig Club to try.

I love Oban 14. By far my favourite go to Whisky.

Took a. Bottle to a house party and finished it, went up and toured it the other week, the 21 year old is really nice. And the whisky aint bad either.
Expensive stuff though.
Didn't get to try the 25year old, but the cask strength was nasty. Like dishwater vodka.

Second best whisky I ever bought was a Glengoyne - 1972 vintage, 37yo. Delicious drop of whisky. Expensive but worth every penny.
Aye, the 1972 was a lovely smooth whisky - and a relative bargain at £250.

Recently finished the last of my Ardbeg 'Uigeadail', which is possibly the nicest whisky I've ever had and am pondering on what to try next. Recommend me a really nice, peaty smoky Islay.
