I am a fan of the glass ones so I have ordered this one. If it has a negative effect on how the display looks then I’ll try something else.

Funnily enough that was the exact same protector I was looking at but for the 11inch. Let us know how you get on with it when it arrives. I always struggle when applying protectors so the included guides will likely swing it.

Are there any apple pencil users out there with experience when drawing on different type of protectors?

I applied that to the wife’s new 11 inch iPad and it was easy and doesn’t impact the display as far as I can tell.

Mine has arrived now, what a beast the 12.9 is! Definitely going to have to opt for a keyboard of some type, probably just plump for the Apple one considering I’m in so deep anyway! Connected by Remote Desktop to Windows virtual desktop on azure, need to test stuff out but very happy on the whole!

I have the magic keyboard on the way, but would love to use it in portrait mode at work (long script on screen) so Have ordered up one of these stands. I already have a trackpad and wireless Apple keyboard, so think I can use those?

If so, that bundle is a lot cheaper than a magic keyboard, and more flexible.

I'm tempted by the Logitech slim folio pro for the incoming 11inch. Surprised there isn't more love for this considering it contains another row of function keys!

I charged the new iPad to 100% before I went to bed last night and I just got in from work and the battery still claims 100%. My 2017 10.5 Pro would probably read low 90s in that time. Of course it might be software lies but if not and it’s genuinely at 100% I am impressed.

Just installed it first try with 1 small dust particle on the screen but you can’t see it when the screen is on so I can live with it. The applicator thing makes it simple but as my living room is not a dust free clean room I can’t blame the screen protector install process for dust. The screen looks the same to me and HDR content still pops nicely.

Experience is great on Remote Desktop, magic keyboard should take this too the next level. Means I don’t need to enroll the device for work, just jump on the desktop for outlook / teams then swipe off when not needed.

Received an 11” Pro M1 256gb yesterday but having big problems with internet speeds. Doing a speed test it barely reaches 50-100mbps sometimes it’s single digits. Where as my A12z Pro gets between 450-500mbps in the same position as far as I can tell all settings are the same. My MacBook Pro M1 does not have the issue. I have tried restarting both tablet and routers but no improvement. It’s been bad enough at times to cause buffering when watching videos and downloading apps, updates etc is considerably slower.

Have I missed some hidden setting or is there something I need to do on the router ? It’s weird as everything else works fine…

From what I’ve seen it’s all down to what it’s doing in the background with updating.

Just let it do it’s thing and tomorrow it should be fine.

Not exactly great I know but it is what it is.

It was all updated and transferred over by lunch yesterday. Just done a speed test and it’s only getting 12mbps other iPad is at full speed. Thinking I might have a faulty one… :-(
