Apple seem determined to dump MacBooks and have everyone using iOS based devices. If you could install apps from outside the walled garden of App Store, I'd maybe go with the flow but until then, nah. If you're a creative type then you'll be wetting yourself with excitement though!

Nice little drop on the "standard" iPad too. I still wouldn't mind an iPad/iPad mini to just have as an eBook reader.
