Does sound like a cable issue now you've mentioned that. I've found loose connectors in the past, fixed with a little bending using a screw driver.

Nope, it literally just freezes up like in the olden days of Windows 95.
I just had a BSOD earlier, and then it froze up. Now when I try to boot, I just have black screens.
Something is afoot here....
Bully for you....Just reporting in no more issues for me since I swapped the cards over and disable CPU powersaving features.
