***The Official 6320/6420 Overclocking Thread***

I got a E6320, Its running 3.1Ghz atm.. its stable but im running hot on the stock cooler under high loads :-(

Also my northbridge on my ASUS P5B has a little cooler with no fan on it.. would it be worth buying a upgraded cooler for that?

Can some people post more 6320 overclocks rather than 6420???

On my setup i cant get any higher than 3.2 without silly high volts.

3.2 is fully stable with tight ram timings with 1.44v

to get stable at 3.4 for approx an hour stable in orthos needs 1.6v set in the bios (not sure on exact cause of vdroop)

i've done 3.4 at 1.418vcore+100mv and orthos stable but 3.5 and up was needing huge vcore volts 1.6+ and temps was touching 60c.

Hello, doing a orthos run (8hr) on 3.6ghz....

Using 1.44v atm, but with the drop that is like 1.3*v something :confused: There is a massiv drop


After todays accident, something has definitly gone wrong.
:o Some of the fins on the cooler are badly bent and the temperature has SOARED up. :eek: Its now 50oc :eek: at 3.6ghz.

Did a test in Aquamark3. Got a Score of 190,000 :D .It beats my old score of 80k


It has been running Orthos for 2hrs 30mins. Going to bed now but will be up tomorrow.

hi snazzy, just a quick question, can you tell me why in your sig you say your at 3.7ghz but in your above posts you say it's not stable at 3.7, and how did you get on with orthos at 3.6

sory about taking so long :O. I went to 9olock mass and realised it was on at 9:30
