**THE OFFICIAL AMD CHIPSET DRIVERS THREAD**

Going to install these on my X670E,

Not had any problems before this release so will let you know if anything happens going forward.

I installed them and my cat vomited everywhere instantly, I don't even own a cat.... next door neighbours started fighting, Car outside blew up and the pizza feller got my order wrong.

#curseddrivers

Been running the latest 6.07.22.037 on X670E and 7950X3D for about 5 days and they've been just fine and my system and my PC runs 24/7. Plenty of gaming in those few days and I've not noticed a single issue so far. Wonder why the did pull it though as it was only down for an extremely short time.

Well fortunately my cat is still alive so all good so far. Going to order Pizza later so fingers crossed.

To offset the curse of the drivers you have to answer the door wearing a replica Dirty Harry costume and tell the pizza delivery feller "do ya feel lucky punk?" he will run screaming and his shriek will break the curse.

You're welcome... oh and watch out for the racoon, He knows all.

I don't know why it is but sometimes when updating these drivers I will get 'failed' in the text file it generates afterwards, yet giving the pc a restart and running it again and it works just fine.

Anyone else have an issue like that?

A late reply, but might help others. After installing the drivers, or at another point do you delete C:/AMD? Removing this folder will cause an error when uninstalling or updating the drivers.

Why are the AMD Chipset Driver 7.01.08.129 not downloadable from the official site yet?

Just waiting for WHQL validation?
Ridiculous these still aren't officially out, been running them for a few days and they’ve been absolutely fine. Had to to install them due to a new missing device driver, took me a little while to find out what the cause was only to find out it needed a brand new chipset driver that's not on AMDs site yet.

For me the last two chipset driver versions have not been on the official AMD page, I got them from my motherboards page on Asus website instead.

So I installed my x870e mobo yesterday and installed the chipset driver V6 from the AMD website.

After install there was a device in device manager with no driver. A quick Google I found a Reddit page saying the fix was to install the v7 chipset drivers from the mobo website.

After installing the v7 chipset drivers the device with no driver was correctly recognised as 3d vcache device (from memory).
