I’ve started using Infuse instead of Plex and it’s fixed pretty much every issue I had with the Plex app.

Yeah, never understood the appeal of Plex. I'd rather just decode on client (phone, tablet, TV) rather than transcode over the network. The server only needs to provide access to the file.

Because I use Plex to manage the media, plus watching on my iPad, my mrs uses her iPad for it when working away etc.

I don’t know. I manage to do all of this without installing Plex, just with simple file sharing on a network (and VPN into the home network if I’m away). Accessing those files on iPad, TV, etc allows me to watch them. What I’ve never understood is what Plex actually adds to this process.

tvOS 14.5 (BETA) now supports both 23.976 and 24p as well as 25 (think The Crown on Netflix uses that), so no more stutter, I hardly noticed it myself but this is great news for those that did.

Switches automatically as well. I believe Netflix was a prime source for the stutter as that has a lot in 24p.

The king of streaming boxes.
I have one, but I have to disagree. The lack of true audio passthrough is a massive issue for some, hence most with high end setups use an Nvidia shield or similar. Also, Prime Video still has sync issues for those who use an AV amp. It's a great box, but it's not king and does have room to improve.
