Blue/grey alpine I think was the Apple one. I bought a plain black silicone one from some Chinese knockoff company.

Oh bum. I think I've buggered my watch ultra's speakers by getting soap suds in it whilst I was having a shower today. The speaker is now really muffled and difficult to hear telephone calls and Siri.
Several hours later...
Phew, leaving it in a bowl of water for a few minutes and using the water eject function seems to have cured it. Normal service resumed. I think it will be a good idea to take it off and charge it whilst in the shower from now on.

Yeah I wouldn’t expect a premium Watch to **** up so easily but on Apple’s support page it says to keep it clear of soapy liquids as it can weaken the water seals.

Caved and ordered AWU with trail loop. Don't need it, but have been eyeing it up for weeks and it's a treat to myself for a promotion at work. Need to do more active stuff now to justify it

Well it has certainly spurred me on to get more active. Closing those rings every day and doing all the different Apple Fitness+ workouts, I'll be fit as a fiddle by Christmas.

It’s arrived already, that was quick!
First impression good, it’s obviously bigger than my S6 but so far in a good way. I’ve felt like I wanted something a little chunkier for a while. Would be nicer if it was 2-3mm thinner, about the depth of the raised lip. But so far it’s staying.

No, the 5g is patchy where I live so 4g only would be preferable.
i been thinking of ordering the watch Ultra with the ocean strap but am a bit stuck on which size strap to pick
My wrist size is roughly 180mm (+/- 5mm)
But am stuck on if i should go for the
130mm to 200mm strap
145mm to 190mm strap
145mm to 220mm strap
Please any help on this guys

I would go for the bigger one.
After looking at it again on amazon i think i made a mistake and the ocean strap/band only comes in one size 130mm to 200mm and the other sizes are for the trail & alpine loop bands

The Apple Watch Ultra is a lovely bit of kit. I can see me upgrading mine every time they bring a new version out as I love it and will always want the best one even if I never use half the features.
