I ordered an xfx at 8am exactly and they were showing stock but now there gone. I dont know if i got one or not :(
 
Ordered 2x Saphires :D 5870 babies comeing to me tommorow WOOOOOT :)
im gonna plan a full day of Testing and more testing then playing :D


i seem to still be stuck on Security Validation can someone clearify if there still stuck on that.

Go to 4xAA and toms shows 5870 beating the 295

Could a OCUK employee please check my order to make sure everything is ok and that the funds have gone though and that my 2 cards are in stock becuse its still showing security validation.

do i need to phone up also does my cards come with Dirt II cheers.
 
i would get the 5870 but if i got the 5850 the money saved goes to a new tower, mboard or cpu. im not waiting for ages for the 5850's to come in though
 
I think it was missed earlier, techPowerUp have NOT tested a 5850, they've only estimated based on :

We simulated the performance of the HD 5850 by taking our HD 5870, reducing the clock speeds and disabling two SIMDs, which results in exactly the same performance as HD 5850.

Give sales a buzz, they start at 0830 but should be able to confirm that the order has gone through or not.

I got validation issues because my banks security people through that me buying computer equipment was suspicious - despite me buying from OCUK twice in the previous two months...so check your banks fraud dept too if OCUK can't help [they might hold it for you though]
 
Hmm, don't think I need to get the credit card out quite yet, waiting till December now I think. Interesting that the card is supposed to be louder than the 4870 as it is supposed to run a lot cooler under load and boy did those cards go quick, logged on at 07:59 and all gone bar those Sapphire cards already
