*** The Official Battlefield 2042 thread***

I am all for a BR mode, if you don't like it you can easily avoid it.

Firestorm was great, should have been the regular devs who did it though as I think they outsourced it to Criterion? Should have released alongside BFV too not as late as it did.

For all it's faults though BFV was still very enjoyable for me, spent a ridiculous amount of hours on there and have since recently returned after a few months out.

firestorm was excellent but changes in the main game destroyed it when all the bullets turned into powder puffs

I dont mind what the time period is much to be honest, the one thing I am hoping is that they wont have a free to play Battle Royale mode to compete with Warzone because that would concern me that it will end up being 5 times the number of people playing the free battle royale mode than playing the various multiplayer modes which require you to buy the game and I am worried that would mean that they will expend more effort/resources/budget on the free battle royale mode than the other modes (due to the vast difference in number of players), I'm ok with them having a Battle Royale mode if they must, I'd just want it to be part of the main game itself and thus require people to buy the game rather than it being free to play and having that user disparity

As its EA and they love to monetize everything, they would probably charge £5 for access to the aforementioned preload of the preview to the countdown timer of the preview with the highlights of the pre-release preview look ahead sizzle real trailer of the preview....and you still know people would pay it :)

the one clue is there are no satalites they all apear to be down hence the ground relays

I still bet money America has ceased to exist as a entity in some post apocalyptic future which would be awsome

As all have said already,

I would be happy to "return" to BF - if they fix garbage post BF3....which I doubt they will. It would still be better then COD I must add.

Not sure where you all looked earlier, but the trailer was always going live at 4pm, there's a timer on the youtube stream.
quick google this morning came back with this "EA will officially reveal Battlefield 6 later today during a reveal stream which starts at 3pm BST / 7am PT / 10am ET (12am on June 10 AEST)."
along with all the twitch streamers suddenly coming online just before 3pm for the re-stream :p

Hahahaha, who the hell thought that was a good idea :D. Trailer at 3pm, okay, I'm ready. First bit was interesting, expecting it to go into the main course and nope, the countdown was for... another countdown. Seriously, what the hell hahahaha.
