Sorry to hear that you are having trouble bud.I'm having an absolute nightmare at the moment trying to get 2042 to work. I've not changed any hardware or anything on PC since last season, never had any issues prior and now whenever I launch the game get into a lobby I immediately get the below about an anti-cheat.
I've actually swapped to playing on PS5 temporarily so I can play the new map.
I'm at almost 400 hours of 2042 in total, never had any issues with this before and was playing a few weeks ago with no issues at all... Anyone got any ideas?
Yeah, this did it! Thanks!try completely uninstalling EAC then let the game reinstall it
saw a guy post on twitter the other day indicating he had completed the battlepass in 2 days. Said he did it by playing aggressively and capping flags. Probably the heli xp farm (I'm on level 30 of the BP already and not played much)
I agree with you dude that they aren't amazing, but saying that I mostly use SMG or LMG. Unlocked that new hand cannon pistol. I think I'll replace the super-500 with that.I think im about 30 odd and ive been playing a fair bit as im off work at the moment. Never bought a battle pass for any game I’ve played previously. Ive tried the sniper and the new AR both a bit meh if you ask me.
I'm loving it dude. Since December I've put 500hrs into the game. Still shockingly bad with K/D ratio at times but it's good fun. How's everyone enjoying the new season?
I really like the map, it's a shame it doesn't have one more set of objectives for Breakthrough as it feels a bit short but it plays nicely. Conquest is good - although I think it's very weighted towards the Russian side. I think I've won every single game I've started on that side and it's been 50/50 or 40/60 win rate on the US side.
Still not sure how I feel about the changes to the weapon accuracy for the ARs with the spread/dispersion changes. I feel like it should apply to all or none - right now it's easier to beam someone with a PP29 from 40m away than it is with an SFAR.
The new G36 AR is a lot of fun, doesn't feel too powerful (like the RM68 was last season) but nice at mid to short range.
I really like what DICE have done with the season pass / missions and the cosmetics too - especially in comparison to MW2 / COD games. There's a real FOMO vibe with the COD season pass, it takes a weird amount of time to complete and you never know what progress you're making. In 2042, I just focus on the weekly missions, play enough to get those done and then if I feel like it I'll play a bit more after that too.
Definitely lots for DICE to learn from this game and it's state at release but I do think they've done a really good job in bringing it back. I'd have said it was a 3-4/10 at launch - and it now, for me, sits at a 7.5/10.
