I almost exclusively play medic in BF and the guns are for the most part rubbish, the medic needs a rifle of some sort, basically useless outside of CQ range with the SMG's.

It's not great, it's not as bad as the MP28, Suomi or Sten. Specialised in hipfire and in CQB engagements it's decent but the problem is most of the maps are wide open expanses so useless for the most part. It does make it tedious to play especially on the wide open maps such as Arras, Yellowfield, Hamada, Twisted Steel, Airfield.
 
Is it normal to headshot someone twice and have them not die ? I mean I can kinda understand 1 headshot not killing but 2 in quick succession seems a bit ridiculous

Is this not down to a fundamental flaw in how the game mode is designed ? In that you get way more points by just running from point to point capping everything ? most people play for personal points rather than the team win and so long as you get more points from doing the objectives carousel it won't change.

I was such a crap BF1 player the only awards I could get were Flag Defender. Everyone else just buggerd off leaving me alone. Easy! :D

He hasn't mentioned his res or desktop dpi so its irrelevant, I play on 800dpi mouse 4% in game, 1080p and 125% dpi desktop, standard stroke across the mouse mat to turn 180. Thats my yard stick to use, just find whatever settings that is for you.

To be honest, I'd just go with whatever you find comfortable/ what your mousepad will allow for and try to stick with it - constantly changing sens will only mess with your muscle memory :)
