I played a quick 30 mins.

Some of the graphics are spectacular. The TTK is brutal! I seem to be better at this than BF1 tho. I had a positive D/K during the 30 mins I played. But due to the low TTK I was finding I was often at the spawn screen.

The game feels very hardcore. Not sure if it's really enjoyable like this. It feels like every second your alive is borrowed time. I do play these games a little gun ho which might have something to do with it tho.

You seem to be doing it right if you're getting a good D/K, I found I used to play these games like COD and go running in and getting killed. If you play more reserved that's how to be effective.

I've honestly not followed this game at all, have they removed Spotting?

What do you get with Airlift items? Are they pure cosmetic such as skins? or are they scopes etc? dunno if it is worth the extra 12 quid for the deluxe!

I believe so, but everyone seems to "spot" you coming a mile away and mow you down with lazer precission.

Had it downloaded within the hour. Plays nicely, really like it so far actually.

Only issue I'm having is I'm limited to 60fps as vsync is on but the option for vsync is greyed out so I can't disable it.. I'm not on the latest nvidia driver though (about to install) so will check back after. Hoping that'll fix it.

Glad I didn't get a 2000 series card, watched a video of RTX on vs off and it was frankly pathetic, wouldn't even notice half the features during gameplay, too busy shooting

Think you need to change the graphics preset to 'custom' - this should let you disable vsync.

Indeed. Or just have it disabled in the nVidia control panel.

I'm loving the gewehr. Such a satisfying gun. Pants up close, but great at the mid range. The sten, on the other hand is just rubbish.

I absolutely love the Sten, seems to work for me. Great on Devastation.

They've changed how spotting works yes.

Lots of changes. I think at the moment with only 8 maps (I think) the game feels a little light) but overtime this could turn in to a master piece of a BF game.

Or at the very least a lot better than BF1.

Those V1 rockets are cool! Not that I know who they work!

I couldn't climb out of the river on Rotterdam the other day. That was infuriating.

Edit: Not to worry, answered my own question about maps.

Just bought the standard edition now, didn't see enough in the deluxe edition to tempt me to get it.

Same for me, I couldn't get in to 1 either. No sure what it was the game just felt off, but did look so beautiful. I played 30mins of BFV last night and first impressions I liked it, although graphically it felt like a step down from BF1 not sure why I'll have a proper look tonight when I get home.

It is odd. I loved battlefield 4 and bad company 2. I may give it a go as a shooter I am running a nvidia gta1050 so not sure how it will run.

Game keeps crashing.

Also performance with my rig is not great. I imagine it's the game rather than my GPU that needs an upgrade.

It's crashed 3 times to desktop. As well as caused a hard reset if pc.

I did a clean install of Windows before I installed the game. It unlocked for me yesyerday at11pm.

It's a part of MSI Afterburner.

I think it may have just been the game and the other things I did are a red herring. Try repairing the game install (doesn't take long).
