*** The Official Battlefield 5 thread***

Personally I'd love a BF4 remaster with the same spotting mechanic as BFV. That would be the sweet spot for PC gamers imo.

Hey guys,

Does anyone have a little stutter in the menus? For example - I finished a conquest game, and at the end when given stats, it was a little choppy when adding points? Although the FPS counter was consistent?:confused:

Since enabling "enhanced sync" the game is not stuttering in busy areas (or so I noticed so far!)

Strange though, I changed from 1440p ultra, to 1440p medium, and the FPS still remains averaging 80-90 fps in Conquest! Isnt that a bit weird its not increased?

Yes. And I had it in BF1 also. It's just the game engine it's self. DX11 or DX12 just different issues.

If anyone else has a CTD issue, I solved mine but upgrading the Ryzen chipset drivers, ran DDU to wipe the nVidia drivers then clean installed the latest nVidia drivers.

Seems solid so far.

Constantly getting 60% gpu usage in this game and had an evening of testing to try to increase it.

I've got a 2700x and a gtx 1080 at 1440p averaging 70-100 fps.

Looks like you need to enable future frame rendering to get gpu usage over 60% and it increases frames quite a bit but also adds input lag. That is just a deal breaker for me as want as little input lag as possible. I honestly think it's a bug atm and hope it to be fixed soon.

Lol! ******* skins. That’s 50% of what the Reddit sub is talking about. It just shows the generational change doesn’t it? Many kids coming through now.

There must be another underlying issue if you can feel the input lag with future rendering on. Not only is the lag so damn minimal that you’d need a graph to show you it, it’s actually offset a lot by the increase in FPS you receive by having it on.

I certainly cannot feel the lag with future rendering turned on, and I used to be quite a hardcore Q3A, CS and UT player.

For ref: 1800X and 1080Ti. 92-120 (120 FPS limit) just now on the new map, smooth as butter.

I'm actually enjoying breakthrough more than conquest. Due to how close in proximity flag caps are conquest just ends up being a merry go round with little tactical play. Breakthrough feels like a genuine battle holding the line/attacking, people build defenses etc. Also forces people to ptfo.

I got some issues running this thing, seems like it's using 100 Cpu and only 40-50 Gpu usage

so massive stuttering even if the fps are alright

Cpu Intel 2600K @ 4.5 ghz Gpu Amd 290x

The beta ran fine and if i recall also beefore the patch .... anyone got the samme issues or just my vintage system

For the tanks at least the skins can give you an advantage with blending in with the scenery on some of the maps. The default tiger skin for example can make it hard to spot if a tank driver positions himself well in the hamada map.
