I just watched the Jackfrags single-player video. I know he's a very good online player but even so, it looked incredibly easy. Having said that, I haven't played any of the previous BF single player campaigns so can't say how this one compares.

 
The single player does look poor from a game play point of view. Very pretty though. I actually liked the prologue in bf1 because it really brought into sharp focus the pointlessness of it and how long you were expected to survive.

It is very, very pretty. The autumn woodland scenes with a rich carpet of leaves blowing around in the breeze look stunning.
 
There were rumours of another open beta a little while ago, has anyone heard any more? I put around 12 hours in on the last one and really enjoyed it. I could do with another fix to see me through until launch.
 
Another beta would be nice, see if they fixed anything. I doubt we'll see one though.

This game so far has been a huge disappointment for me, I'd never thought I'd say this but I'm thinking about cancelling my pre order and buying Black Ops 4 instead. Blackout is fun, BF5 isn't :(

Doubtful now, if the games already complete there would be no point. They'll probably just do another CTE version of the game after launch.

Is Blackout the Battle Royale mode? I've seen a few gameplay videos and would like to give it a go but I'm not sure it's for me. There's a lot of inventory building which isn't my cup of tea.

Yep, Blackout is the BR mode. I never played a BR game before but this looks like it is a lot of fun, everyone seems to be having a blast. I had more fun watching Blackout streams than playing both BF5's betas :(

They were just rumours. There was no way DICE were going to spend time setting up another Beta when they already had a huge list of changes to start implementing. If it helps you can consider the actual release a beta ;)

Many people were just as certain that there would be a second open beta because of the month delay. All just rumours though, of course.
