I just let it grow, all shaggy and all over the place.

Had to shave a good 2 months off though as to be quite frank, I started getting some strange stares :(
 
some epic beards here, makes mine look like a patchy mess.

protip: don't attempt to trim post shower without first placing a bath mat on the floor, nearly sliced off most of my face after slipping, had to remove the whole lot, only just got it back and looking ok after that.
 
me over a year ago, I grew it longer but now trimmed back. I'll post more when I upload them

Well, it's now back to grade 1 :( My boss made a strong comment last night as we were boarding the train. She made sort of a joke and sort of a "that needs to go" comment...

So low and behold, I'm stuck with grade 1 stubble it seems until I go traveling. At least I'm still growing my hair!
 
My beard is too weak at the moment to be posted in thread so until it grows back I thought this was appropriate for this thread :D

Forgot about this Thread :p They mostly seem to be under-the-thumb manlings and hipster manginas here at OcUK sadly ;) Anyway I'll share some beardly goodness I found the other day:

 
I'm a beard keeper. I've had my current one for the last year, full beard with a high cheek line (almost natural) and a proper neck (not jaw) line. I had a goatee+tache combo in my early 20s and grew a full set about 4 years ago but shaved it off for job interviews in 2011.

I love my beard and would find it quite hard to be without it. It's great on a cold winter's morning at the train station, or for thoughtful stroking when faced with a challenging meeting. The manly implications it offers would otherwise have to be filled by fighting with strangers, which I wouldnt be very good at.

The main idea of this thread is to know about each others beard. Do you love your beard or do you want it to grow more.

For me, my beard is not the type what I want so I am working on it nowadays. Bought Minoxidil to be used on my beard as I've seen quite amazing results of the people using it.

Share your thoughts and if possible style of beards you people follow.
 
Been growing my beard since last summer. Usually kept it short-ish at the side i.e. number 3-4 grade but let my chin grow out.

Since Jan I've just let it grow and it's become quite long.

Saying that I need to go see my barber who will tidy it up and trim it down. It's getting a bit too out of control. I'd do it myself but last time I did, I made it worse :p.

Excellent - I have noticed shaving boosts the speed your beard grows too, so for example those with goatees have faster growing chin hair. or at least that what happened with me
