Still no B sample news at this point? I think I'm just gonna have to accept Whyte was ******* hot.

C'mon Whyte. You blew your chance if this is true. With AJ getting beaten up he was finally starting to captures peoples attention and then he does this. He already got caught and banned for 2 years for taking that Jack3d supplement.I can understand how that happens but this time you're a PPV fighter commanding millions per fight. His team should've been looking after it.

I personally think Whyte is finished now tbh. Very rare the B sample is clean..

Whyte failed a UKAD test on 17th June; VADA said he passed two tests on 17 & 21 July. A whole month between tests in doping terms might as well be 12 months, as he could've easily cycled off the drug or had something else well in place by the time the VADA tests came round. But this must be stressed: the drug's benefits would still be there for the fight. So the two VADA tests are irrelevant - all that matters is the one he reportedly failed and the fight in which he may have had an illegal, dangerous, advantage.

Haven't heard about the B sample..? He deserves that, but I'm prepared to have to write him off.

Closer to the fight, Whyte requested the B sample tested, which I'd imagine was a tactic so that Hearn/Sky could pressure UKAD/BBBoC to treat it as innocent till proven guilty as technically they could be absolved by the B sample, so the fight was pushed to happen and the drug stuff kept quiet. Absolutely unacceptable to not inform Rivas tho, mainly. I got bloodwork done two months ago, results took a few weeks, however wouldn't be surprised if they delay and remain as quiet as possible about the results if they're bad.

Quite right Ruiz wants more money. If the cards are so obviously going to be stacked against him, he’s well within his rights to demand plenty of the cash. It’s as if Matchroom simply don’t realise that AJ isn’t the champion in this fight.

I doubt he'll be able to demand anything. The terms and conditions for this fight would have been set out during the first fight. Everything from purse splits to venue and dates would have been included.

I still think AJ should have brought him here

That’s obviously not the case, otherwise it would have been sorted ages ago. It was most probably a simple clause saying the loser would have the right to a rematch. Ruiz wouldn’t have been causing all these problems if he had signed to those conditions.

Failure to adhere to contracts in such situations can lead to stripping of titles.

Saudi Arabia for Ruiz AJ 2? That's an awful choice, as it's an away fight for both and there'll be **** atmosphere. If so, Hearn's possibly just making a big cash grab from the Saudis in case AJ loses again.

Edit:

Riyadh possibly, hmmm...

I’m pretty sure your wrong Hearn has already stated such on numerous occasions.

They would have dictated purse splits and the right to where and when the fight takes place. Aj was the champion to think the rematch wouldn’t take place on his terms would be very naive.

:D

Joking aside, what a terrible place to hold the fight in. I loathe the Saudi’s myself for everything they represent.

In all honesty the fight should have been held here in the uk.
