Or the WBC tell Fury he has to fight someone else first lol, and so make one trick wilder wait for about a year like he did to everyone else

What i don't understand is that if you have such a beast of a punch in your arsenal, why don't you then build your skills around it rather than just rely on it?(Like he seems to..) He has literally built everything on that punch. Its like having a football team and deciding your tactics are to score 6 if they score 5...

Lol Wilder doesnt even do road work ...never did , fury will beat him again...hes done i think , and keep in mind all those he beat were 3rd and 2nd class fighters at best.

Whyte vs povetkin in may been announced today

It has been! Should be a good fight. Makes Wilder look worse and worse every time Dillian fights another top fighter.

Dillian really deserves his shot at a world title, but I still want to see him beat Wilder senseless as well

After Whytes last fight any title fight will be embarassing for him.

His last fight is hardly a accurate measuring stick is it? Out for several months with those false drug claims with the B sample debacle.

What you need to measure him on is all his fights previous to the last one, in which case he was fighting top fighters 1 after another and beating everyone.

That is going to be an absolute war. I always felt Whyte would be a problem for Wilder so I feel a bit for him that he never had his chance to show what he could do before Fury did.

You have to take that fight in context though. As Praz said, he was out for several months going through what could only be a horrible time as your career is on the line knowing you did nothing wrong. Plus he took that fight on 3 weeks notice

anyone seen the recent videos of Fury cheating with his left glove? and how a ref in a previous fight delayed a Fury fight because he caught him doing the same thing - and Fury's body language looked guilty as hell at the start of that fight after he was caught.

basically he didn't have his hand fully in the glove, like 4 or 5 inches short. you can see his thumb cause a lump in the glove below where the thumb should actually be and his fingers are shown where his wrist should be.

would have given him a much longer reach with the jab to put Wilder in a defensive mindset. no way was it an accident.

looks like the rematch is needed and hopefully he won't cheat this time

Don't they get their hands wrapped while being examined/viewed by a member from the opposing team?

Have you got a link? So Deontay is now saying Fury’s fist was in the cuff?

I’m not sure why anyone would want to do this and if you did how it’s even possible.

Some of the old school punchers gloves get a little floppy as the rounds go on especially if you flick the jab. Pulling your fist down to the cuff would put you at a massive disadvantage and the laces would need to be so lose the glove would probably come off at some point. The other reasons why you would never do this is it takes away all your shot options and risks serious hand and wrist injuries.

If anything I would see this as an advantage to Wilder not Fury.

I’m pretty sure this is rubbish. I found an American YouTube channel talking tosh about this.

The fight you’re talking about was against Hammer and the thumb of Fury’s glove come unstitched.
