Chisora V Pulev tonight, couple of questions:

Honestly who wanted/cares about this fight? 2 over the hill gatekeepers, what does the winner get other than being served up to the next up and coming talent?

Who on earth thought this should be a headline fight at the O2 in 2022?! Would be a decent undercard scrap to a proper heavyweight title fight perhaps but no one seems to actually do undercard fights anymore just a prospect fighting some Latvian bus driver in which no one learns anything.

Chisora sells boatloads of tickets when fighting in London. There’s no serious planning behind the fight, it’s just a money making opportunity. Almost a glorified exhibition

Potentially but at the same time he probably shouldn't fight for a much smaller percentage just because Paul says he'll take the fight to the UK. Not sure which one of the two is the worst

Pulev only lost to Wlad K and AJ so hardly an over the hill gatekeeper who will be served up to up and coming talent. He would lay them out on their back.

That is my opinion of him anyway, if that happens then i will eat my words.

Looks like eubanks vs connor benn is due to be announced at catchweight

Stupid fight for both, Eubanks should be chasing a world title and benn is boting off more than he can chew, eubanks is a lot bigger

Huge test for him for sure. Good to see to be honest. If he's serious about this whole thing then stage proper fights

I agree about Benn but i think he will see this as a gateway for a world title shot so perhaps its one he simply has to take a chance on. If he loses then we all say "well that was expected" and he doesnt really lose out.

To be fair to Paul he could do what some proper professional boxers do on their debut and fight some proper cans on losing streaks. If it's good enough for who we say as proper pros it should be good enough for Jake Paul. This is a huge step up for him and depending how he does, even in a loss if he looks good, people will have no choice but to give him respect. You have to remember he literally only started a few years ago, he clearly has some natural ability.

The Eubank vs Benn thing is a joke. Eubanks whole career has been wasted. He is a athletic specimen but was too arrogant to listen to trainers in his early fight and now he has just turned into a poundland version of Roy Jones Jr.

I have a lot of time for Benn though,he has shown massive improvements since that fight with the French bloke he lost to. Peynaud or whatever his name was.
