I tried arguing with Baz about this a few years back when Dazn was doing the promotional year. I thought it was a good deal.

It's not the dream the originally sold it to be. I hate paying for Sky but at least I get a wide range of sports either through them or on Eurosport. DAZN just can't match that value at the moment. Had the got BT like they thought, it could've then been 'game changed' but now the venue has changed with the same game.

But those subscribing to sky to maybe watch some boxing are no worse off. They still can do that. But they can’t watch everything and they never have been able to.
No matter what you get people won’t be happy especially when it comes to parting with money.

Remember. As well as Boxxer cards Sky also gives you the ESPN fights too. Whereas DAZN you just get Matchroom and whatever rubbish Goldenboy are doing (not much)

I’m not arguing I’m not really that concerned about peoples opinions on the matter.

Matchroom have been replaced by boxxer and Top Rank on sky so you still have the content you had before, just in a different format. You always had BT sports as a separate platform l, boxnation before it, and now you have Dazn. You can watch as much or as little as you like. You can pay for PPv or not it’s completely a personal choice.

Now DAZN has the ability to provide a whole load more content but they need revenue to be able to provide it just like any other business. You can stand on the outside with your entitled attitude demanding to get more whilst paying nothing, or you can contribute so that the business can grow and therefore pay the money it will take to provide more content. Either way it’s your choice.

Oh, I've no strong feelings either way. On paper I want DAZN to be a success because as annoying for a customer as fragmentation is, and lord knows we don't need an excuse for politics, it means there is a bigger pot for the fighters to make life changing sums of money - that's a good thing. A Netflix for sport would also be incredible.

I'm someone who pays for PPVs - not all. But I would argue I probably pay for a good share of them. I'll be paying for AJ vs Whyte 2 and I paid for the first one which was a British Title fight. I'll pay for Spence vs Crawford if that's an PPV event here.

I always believe in voting with my wallet though. I paid for that first year of DAZN as it had some decent fights, though it felt like all of the old Next-Gen fights just ended up there. But once they split with Sky properly, for me the value hasn't been there.

The sooner this clown goes back to having a recreational drug and performance enhancing drugs bender sorry, mental health breakdown the better for boxing.

Funny isn’t it he/they was blaming Usyk and co for avoiding fights due to wanting Saudi money, yet he’s taking that Saudi money for this Mickey Mouse fight.

The contempt for boxing and its fans is evident to all but the die hardest of nut huggers. Watch how many idiots pay for this drivel.

Anyway back to Boxing.

Yeah, ignoring that clown..

Haven't watched this yet but I can't stress how happy I am for Ade. Been watching his channel for years, spoke to him several times and he's always a sound guy. So happy for him with the gig he's landed at DAZN
Does anyone know when the next Saturday night UK card is?

There seems to be nothing for weeks. Totally dead ffs.

Maybe Buatsi vs Azeez?

Edit: ignore me. @Doobedoo cleared it up

Horrific. I'm gutted the MMA fighter is going to be made to look an absolute clown where there's no way in hell Tyson risks the reverse even if he was offered 200m. I'd have paid whatever PPV wanted to watch it then. The governing bodies to protect boxing from this rubbish.

The Governing bodies are in cahoots with the promoters. They received a big brown envelope to allow this to happen. Everyone knows the WBC are corrupt as can be. I think since 2015 they have called 3 mandatories for the heavyweight title.

I’ve noticed something, how suspiciously quiet it is in here. Where are all you people that have been criticising the AJ/Whyte announcement, yet are nowhere to be seen when Fury announces this sideshow? Tumble weeds!
