That version that shown up against AJ (which Fury ran away from his obligations) was better than the version that Fury danced around to win.

Though not taking anything from Fury. While that fight was boring as **** and I'll never watch it again, he did go into Wlads, adopted, back yard and win. That deserves credit

It’s easy to part fools with their money I guess. I remember having discussions with my mate when Mayweather was fighting McGregor. He was adamant that McGregor was going to cause him problems and if he catches him he’d knock him out. I told him Mayweather would toy with him and it was nothing but a money grab.

History will now repeate itself.

I made a decent amount of money that night, well, about £130 of mix from both friends and a small bet I put on.

Was so funny leading up to that fight and people talking about the angles Connor would use and how he would be too much for the old man.... Then the fight happens and the old man is calm and Connor was blowing hard after the 3rd round.

I didn't mind paying for that freakshow (I paid for nearly all of Floyds PPVs in the UK from about Hatton onwards) but I certainly wont be paying for this one. "If it was taking place in my back garden I'd draw the curtains"

Not really, It reflects the sentiment of the forum towards Fury and all his antics which have amounted to him avoiding fights any boxing fan wants to see and opting for a circus event that pays well..If Fury doesn't want to cement his position as the best heavyweight of his generation then fair enough. At least we know he is only motivated by money.

Well they can start by giving it the criticism it deserves or even just any criticism. AJ gets stick before l, during and after every fight and I’m not seeing the same to someone that quite obviously deserves it.

I know we have a lot of casual fans in here that don’t really follow boxing but they weren’t quiet at the beginning of this week.

The AJ fight has more to talk about.

What's there to talk about with the Fury fight? There's been loads of talk about Fury generally over the last few weeks/months, people are probably just bored of it. It's pretty clear that it's a nothing 'fight', an MMA fighter vs a boxer... it's not even the first time it's happened.

Edit - since you posted the announcement 2 people have commented on it, now 4 since you asked people to comment, I don't think that's bad going, since yesterday.

Yeah I’m not buying that. I was even told by another poster that I’m hating on Fury too much. :cry:
 
The only thing I love about it all is that everyone is now waking up to see what a total plank Fury is - and as for his devoted legion of fans, they're just chumps.

I am a Fury hater but frankly, he deserves it and makes it so easy to hate him. History will not be kind to Luke.
 
I wouldn’t even have a problem with it if it wasn’t for him and his team running with the narrative they are.

Just drop the belt and **** off.
