We don’t celebrate class very much we like clownery more. Class equals lack of personality where as acting like a fool is the opposite.
I can understand it when building a brand or selling a fight but in a 1-1 interview, it just shows people's true nature. I can respect the skill but not the person.

Yarde is probably the classiest I've heard recently, and I'd say Dylian Whyte is usually alright. Both seem like decent people.

Have they given up with the egg excuse then? He had an expert on TalkSport to explain it all not that long ago.
No, he's still got contaminated eggs as the back-up plan if they can't get the case thrown out. Ironically when the WBC put it down to eggs, Benn said it was BS.

No I wasn’ t basing it solely on ring accolades. Purely on talent, excitement, impact, entertainment in which he’s streets ahead. He changed the game because before that lower weight we’re never headliners and ppv stars, Nas made lower weights sexy, Nas made me fall in love with boxing.

Not say I don’t have deep respect and admiration for the other greats, but for me personally their will only be only Prince.

Speaking of Yarde. This was a great interview with him and touched on some decent things. I know throughout Covid he lost his father and another family member shortly before the Lyndon Arthur fight but I didn't realise he lost 4 family members. No wonder he had such an off night and destroyed him in the rematch

You’re missing Aj on that list but people love to hate. And Whyte is far from classy although I do like him.

Full disclosure; I love Naz and think a dedicated Naz would've been too much for FMJ but I can't put him in the same bracket as those two. Naz and Whittaker are probably two of my standout favourite fighters - If i'm not answering RJJ or FMJ

It's why I like Ben Whittaker so much. His showboating etc reminds me of an early Naz and he has the talent to back the showboating up

Apparently the science points to contamination, what the WBC and Benn say is quite irrelevant.

Throwing another champs belts out of the ring is not classy at all.

AJ is simply media trained to speak well and be 'the role model'.

Whyte might not be classy but he has more class than most, when speaking normally at least and not hyping matches. Happy to be wrong here though, I'm not trying to argue.

Well Benn's team claim that, whether UKAD and their experts agree is another matter. You'd have thought that if the science was so conclusive that Benn wouldn't be trying to get the case dismissed on the grounds of jurisdiction and would want to clear his name. And of course what Benn says is relevant as it shows somebody that's twisting and turning all over the shop looking for any possible way to avoid a ban.

Absolutely it’s what his team we’re claiming. I don’t know the validity of that claim anymore than you do but as I said the WBC are a crocked bunch and wouldn’t take what they say with kind of integrity, and Benn doesn’t have any scientific background so it doesn’t matter what he says if the science says different.

Benn doesn't but the team that put forward his defence for the initial WBC hearing would have and according to Benn, they disputed that the drug was in his system at all and that it was dodgy testing by VADA. That particular defence was dismissed by the WBC and as such he's now gone for the eggs defence, if he can't get out of it by dropping his BBBoC license.

Again it’s all irrelevant if the science backs up contamination I don’t understand the back and forth.

If they prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the clomafine in his system came from eggs rather than a masking agent then nothing else matters.

That particular instance wasn’t but how he conducts himself on a day to day basis is.

It’s funny how the one who should hold it against him doesn’t, yet the public choose to judge a man clearly having a bit of a breakdown and say that’s what he is.

Yes, I don't understand why you replied to my post not to you that it was ironic that Benn rubbished his own defence. I'm not sure what you find difficult about that.

I don’t particularly care to tell you the truth. I left my pitchfork at home and said I give him the benefit of the doubt, but if it’s proved he did it then he deserves what he gets.

Ok and the ironic comment wasn't in relation to guilt or innocence but purely the point that he rubbished his own defence. Surely that's ironic.

Again I don’t particularly care. I have no allegiance to Benn, I was actually looking forward to seeing him get a hiding as he was getting to big for his boots. That aside I have a degree of empathy for him as a media witch hunt is a nasty thing.

Looking forward to seeing hameds son on the undercard.

His other son sami has turned pro aswell

I see prince still holds the WKEC belt (world kebab eating championship)
