I struggle to make that a draw for Fury let alone have him up. What are the clear rounds because other than 3,4 and I think maybe 6 I don’t see how he would be up rounds.

Need to rewatch it really
It was never a draw. I saw Hearn trying to argue that but I reckon that's just because he is trying to butter up Warren and Fury so he gets his AJ vs Fury last hurrah. He's desperate to wring one last cent out of AJ because he's about the only semi credible Heavyweight he has in the Matchroom stable.

I admit my favouritism for Usyk but I think his work was
1. greater volume over the fight
2. greater accuracy
3. more perceptible power shots landing
4. superior defence

He's taken the best AJ and Fury could land over nearly 50 rounds and not been knocked over or even stunned. The guy is a phenom. So hard to hit clean and his ability to close the space against the much bigger opponent was a masterful. Fury did better than I thought he might given how girthy he looked so credit for that but ultimately his best was quite a bit short of Usyk's. I heard a suggestion of Usyk vs Opetai as a potential fight and that sounds like a good one. I'd rather see that than him spank Dubois again.

Yeah I think Usyk beats Dubois again but the body shot was 100% legal and probably should have won. I hope we do see Fury v Joshua now one last dance for a serious pay day.

i would counter that and say not enough for a Usyk win either. No one really wants a draw but that would have probably been the 'fair result' however i had Fury up by a round or two.
Did you read my post? The challenger needs to win convincingly otherwise the judges will lean slightly towards the champion. History is littered with such examples, remember Lewis V Holyfield :p

Ironically, that is what makes Fury's victory in Germany against Wladimir so impressive in my eyes.

I’m glad the whole Fury is the greatest heavyweight of all time cult is over, it’s always annoyed me that people ignored the fact his record has him beating an aging Klitschko and 3 fights against a poor boxer who only had a power punch in his locker and that’s about it.

Got to hand it to his media prowess though to be able to convince people for so long, promoters dream.

So six of us were sat watching this, 4 thought Fury would get the nod, 2 of us inc me thought Usyk won. The right man definitely won for me and I was rooting for Fury to do a job on him, he simply couldn't.

To come in with a height, weight and reach disadvantage and maintain that sort of momentum throughout the entire fight, never really letting off, was quite exceptional. He wanted it more, he had to put himself in range ie. take huge risks just to land his shots but he was game. Fury on the other hand had moments early on where he used his height and reach to his advantage but he had rounds off, he looked tired, he was targetting the body of Usyk a fair bit but Usyk was landed the eye catching shots, Furys head was getting rocked back a lot, he seemed far more fearful of what was coming back from Usyk and he's the bigger guy. Fury simply did not do enough to beat the champion whereas the champion did enough to maintain and keep his title.

Usyk single handedly killing British heavyweight boxing. One of the all time greats in two divisions is incredible, especially a man of his size going up to heavyweight and taking on people at their best, not years after their prime.

Not sure if this has been mentioned but Dubois made himself look like a right tit. It was levels of cringe ive not witnessed since AJ went on that unhinged rant after he lost to Usyk the second time. I mean who’s idea was it to let him up there.
that was staged. he knew all about it if you watched the pre fight before hand. hes normally quite boring and just sorta not with it. hes been smiling like a chesure cat all week. that was set up for when usyk won because he will fight usyk after beating parker. fury off to fight AJ. fury didnt do great but didnt lose by 4 rounds. it was a pretty mediocre fight tbh. usyk deserved to win but it was like a round maybe two at best.

only thing i took out the fights is..that moses looks like he could be a monster..which is exciting. new wave of heavy weights coming in and the old going out. i wouldnt be suprised if dubious beats usyk next time.

while he is amazing. he hasnt had monsters to fight. think prime mike tyson or lennox lewis riddick bowe evandar holyfield. they would have all probably destroyed him. you can only fight whos in front of you though at your time.
