prime mike tyson two to three rounds. easy. why ? mikes best punches are uppercut and body shots. both usyk hates. also mike had the speed quicker than usyk same weight but was a pure monster. usyk 0 chance.

Two to three rounds easy... ZERO CHANCE!?

Which highly skilled southpaw did you ever see Tyson do what your saying to? Better yet, which of any Tysons fight agaisnt top opposition makes you think it would be easy and Usyk would have zero chance?

Tyson would be the smaller man and already with his peekaboo style he would have to work to get in range to throw the bodyshots and uppercuts... Usyk isn't just going to sit in range and allow his body to be wailed on.

I know you can't directly compare fighters like this but I see Usyk as a Holyfield 2.0 and 1.0 already had Tysons number.

That is a wild take.

peak tyson go watch and you already know didnt care got in smashed anyone.non peak usyk would have out pointed him. who has bullied usyk ? no one. tyson would have. some fighters mayweather for eg never got bullied. which is why they had easier eras. a real top best ever heavy weight fighter can box and can just animate people. usyk just mainly out points people. hes not a destroyer. imagine usyk with someone like prime george foreman. would have been hit in the body and crapped himself.

Peak Tyson smashed cans, yes. Go look at Tysons record for when he was actually fighting someone of note... What is his best win, really? Michael Spinks? Maybe Tucker?

Based on what?! Which, compared to Mike, Southpaw did Tyson ever bully let alone one bigger than him.. You can't just say "X would've done Y" when there is no evidence to support that.

Everyone had a plan to beat Mayweather, and now Usyk, until they got in the ring with them. You think fighters didn't try and bully them?! As if it was that easy. Shane Moseley probably came closest to beating Mayweather but once he made adjustments, Shane was done for.

Nothing about having easier eras and more just being head and shoulders above their peers.

The sport is called Boxing. It is not called 'KO'. I understand boxing fans like to see knock outs but that is not the only way to skin a cat.

George Forman is actually a brilliant point. Big George Foreman was 6'3". Who was huge in his day, hence the Big George nickname. Want to know how tall Usyk is? 6'3". He's literally the same size as George and often heavier. Now not ignoring Georges incredible punching power but he also relied on his size...

We just saw Usyk hang with someone 4 stone heavier and significantly taller. You think he's going to struggle with a slow mover like Foreman?

C'mon.

The only guy from your list who I believe could actually beat Usyk would be Lenox Lewis but that's because I believe he is the most perfectly rounded heavyweight ever.

its all opinion but tyson would have flattened usyk.he did face mainly tomatoes and after peak he lost all his hard fights but peak tyson would have the speed and power to just destroy usyk. no one has done that to usyk.hes smaller faster wins on points. hes not a destroyer.great boxer but as said the all time monsters would eat him. george foreman just look at him on heavy bags. one of those would have killed usyk.

mayweather never had fights with animals. thats why he could dance away and boxer. there is two ways in boxing. boxer or fighter. usyk is a boxer so is mayweather.

as said anyone who thinks usyk could take these kinda shots is deluded. love usyk best " boxer " of the last gen not the best fighter.

I have to agree re Mike Tyson.

As soon as he was in with a top tier boxer (no disrespect to Bruno) he got found out.

And the toys came out of the pram.

"peak" Tyson was exciting, but he fought a lot of bums.

I don't think a prime anyone, let alone Tyson would have walked in and 'flattened' or 'destroyed' Usyk, he's far too clever and quick.

Ring IQ, speed, fitness and aggression - Usyk and his team I think would put together a game-plan that would give even prime Tyson a very difficult night.

Saying that someone would just walk in and flatten him like it's nothing, sounds a little like you don't really understand the level he's at.

Again, what are you basing this off because it looks like you're just basing it off vibes.

Tyson never fought any southpaws and he lost to every single credible fighter he fought. I'm not giving him credit for beating a near 40 year old Larry Holmes who got his arm caught over the ropes as he got knocked out.

The closest fighter we have to compare Usyk to that Tyson also fought was Holyfield and he had his number. I rate Usyk more than Evander so I think he'd make it even more conclusive.

no one has done that to usyk.
Not through lack of trying. Everyone outside of the ring say the same thing. "Oh you need to rush him", "You just got to put it on him", "bully him" and the list goes on. Yet they get in the ring and no one can do it.

At some point, like with Mayweather, you just have to accept they're not letting the opposition do the 'easy' thing.

Good job Usyk isn't a heavybag that doesn't move or punch back, right? Anyone can look good agaisnt a speed or heavybag...

Lets just put 'monster' into context. I'd say Foreman's best win was Fraizer. In that bout 'Big' George was 218lbs. Usyk was 226lbs against Fury on Saturday.

Then add on to that Foremans weakness was always a fighter who wouldn't stand and trade. What is Usyks best trait? His movement and workrate.

Usyk wouldn't be still enough for 'the mummy' to land a glove on him.

mayweather never had fights with animals. thats why he could dance away and boxer.
Corales, Gatti, Castillo, De Le Hoya, Hatton, Canelo, Mosley and Pacqiao all tried to take the fight to him. Did you even watch his fights?

come from a boxing family 100s of years generation after generation. most normal people just understand. usyk is a great boxer actually like him but no one really went after him. they tried to box him. which he is better at. people like george foreman mike tyson joe louis frazier would have destroyed him. basically fighters..not people trying to score rounds. lewis would have beat him quite comfortable but would have been points.

I don't think you understand.

People said the same about Mayweather, you 'just need to go after him' until they get in the ring (and almost everyone did) and he just shrugs off their best shots and nullifies their attacks - attacks and tactics which work on everyone else, just not on someone at that level and I think Usyk is on that level.

Usyk has cemented himself as one of the all-time greats of heavyweight boxing, like it or not.

i rate him best of all time no. but you can only fight whos in your era. his this era hasnt been great tbh..he was just better than the rest. put him in the 80s 90s would have stuggled. put him in 60s 70s would have struggled dont have to agree. its just our opinions. people dont even understand the difference between a boxer and a fighter.so its kinda pointless debating.. :D

So a Fury Vs AJ fight would be a battle of the losers as Fury once put it.

Personally speaking Fury had no game plan the other night. Double jab cross was the only party trick and it's one we've seen a million times before.

I was expecting to see the Fury that dismantled Wilder in the second fight. A Fury that come forward. That's why I thought he was bulking up.

Alas he didn't even do that. I was disappointed with his performance the other night.

Pacman would have eaten him alive had they fought 4 years earlier. He dodged a prime Pacman
