Neate is getting a fair bit of abuse on twitter. Wonder why....

Really happy for Shedden, I don't think anyone deserves it more.

fair play to Honda they had the full package working well this season.

Was present this weekend, what bloody horrible weather on the Sunday. was soaked and freezingh by lunchtime but we all stuck it out till the bitter end, the last race was enjoyable as it was like a night race, the tv shots i have since seen don't give the impression it was particularly dark but by the last 1 or 2 laps you could hardly see the cars going into druids from paddock hill it was that dark (bar their brake lights ofc!).

and as for the stewards not penalising Andy Neate, saying he was not in control of the car at the time of the accident, ala he was a passenger? Well watch the replay of it back, why, in that case, was he not braking at all? He goes off the track comes back on, over a patch of tarmac and crashes into Morgan, watch his brake lights they don't come on once, he had his foot well in it still.

Anyway, looking forward to 2013 already, should be at at least Oulton Park, Croft and one of Donny, Silverstone or Brands again - cant wait :)

Yeah, they explained during the commentary that the cameras record things lighter, presumably so that we see more of the action rather than dark blobs and bright lights.

Incredibly well deserved Championship title for Shedden, couldn't happen to a nicer guy. What a 7 year journey it's been for him, and here's to hopeing it continues well!

With regards to the last race, I'm trying to work something out. Discounting Jackson going off, would Wrathall still done as well as he did if he was further back in the grid? And was the increasing gap between him and the Hondas due to his driving, or do you think the Hondas were letting off a bit? then again, Jordan seemed to be pushing the Yuasas from the rear, so I'm not sure. Either way, he's shone more than once when it's been wet as hell on the track, maybe he's just used to the Lancashire weather :p

IMO, they were taking it easy. He was 3-4 seconds clear pretty much straight away and from trackside it looked like he was just managing the gap, but then the Honda's were quite happy to coast around and orchestrate their flying finish together hehe
