*** The Official BTCC Thread ***

I've not been a for a few years, but traffic can be an issue. 1994 was epically bad at the height of BTCCs popularity. I'm planning on getting there for 10:30ish, so leaving around 9am.

Knicker Brook gets you a good view of a large portion of the circuit. Lodge is interesting with the exit into Deer Leap, but you can only view that section of track and the entry into the pits.

Uh.... WTF??

Are ToCA trying to give off the impression that they are ******* retarded?

Plato whinges, because his team were simply too lazy to bother fitting the new engine while everyone else did, and now ToCA have decided they can run 25KG lighter...???

AND the Hondas have been penalised for being fast and have to run lower boost than any other team? WTF? This makes no sense! Its not like the Fords last year when they had unique engines, the NGTC engine is the same in all the Turbo cars, but because the Hondas have developed a good package ToCA have slowed them down?

This is all becomeing a ******* joke! Alan Gow is an idiot.

Is anyone else finding the ITV4 quality awful? Its usually bad but today I'm getting loads of picture break ups and sound skips. I'm on the Winter Hill transmitter.

Wish I'd gone today but I'll have to settle for watching it on TV, will definitely get to one of the others again this year though.

It is a joke :(

I don't understand why they always have to mess around with all the rules in motorsport all the time..

I really like the NGTC rules. And they have been around for pleanty of time for everyone to adopt them, or atleast the engines.

The issue is that all the arguing and fiddling is down to the fact the Silverline team couldn't be bothered to fit the NGTC engines. They knew they would be slower with the S2000 NA engines, yet CHOSE not to move to the new engines, and then have the cheek to complain about it. And then to make it even more pathetic, ToCA listen to them.

What a great race, nice drift as well there, thought it was the other drivers fault but looked like he did turn in on him himself.

Andrew Jordan didnt have a very good race, James Nash charged through but as he ended up with the Vectra on the grass near the start and lost time there he just seemed to plod round.

And gutted for Boardman at the end!

anyone know when the next btcc race is on? and those single seaters look damn quick, be interesting to know how quick they are compared to the touring cars.
