Man, BTCC got the F1 going on. Politics and team crashes!

I'm wondering why Audi have gone forb a RWD A4? I'd like to see that do well, nice to see more manufactrurers racing this year too, with Toyota, Audi, VW and Seat (although the latter 2 have been for a couple of years. I felt a bit sorry for Sheddon in race 2 like, i don't mind him.
Nobody knows. Louise just said on grid walk that a driver was missing, it was Tom Onslow-Cole, and that the official line is that the team and driver have parted company amicably.
Oh, and queue another Plato moan after this race. Just fit the ******* NGTC engine to it, for gods sake!

The thing is, its usually at least 50% his fault in these situations!
There is always going to be a team with a better chassis/engine or whatever, just happens that Honda have both, being a works team you would expect that.
Its his teams fault for not using the NGTC engine imo, which if they have spent a lot developing the S2000 engine then you can see why they would want to use it and not just throw all that development money away!
Wonder what happened with Collard and Nash at the start, ruined Nashs chances in the last race.

The bit where the team were all hanging over the rails to welcome them over the finish line was legendary.
At Knicker Brook there was a collective WTF when they disappeared up Clay Hill and we were missing a Honda on the cooling down lap and the other was mid-field...
According to the ITV BTCC twitter feed he's been offered acdrive elsewhere. Team AoN Ford realised they got rid of the wrong guy (keeping Chilton)?
