Interesting... Just watching the WTCC preview and Team Aon were explaining they left BTCC for WTCC because it was difficult to get manufacturers involved with the new British rules, yet they then reveal they have no financial support from Ford in WTCC either...

Is there something bigger going on here? Are Ford forcing Aons hand by wanting the global Focus on a global stage?

Chilton has said previously that he wanted to have a go at wtcc and since his old man now owns AON that's probably had an influence.
