Sony z5 and amazon prime download app, have made me at least consider android.

China I would have thought seeing as its ~8days shipping. Although they say no tax/vat will be charged.

It came from China, yes. Then it was in Paris for a short while, then delivered to my house via DPD.

But just one thing - they don't arrive with MIUI 7. I think I'll be installing that today and getting rid of the ROM that is installed on it. They also include a UK adapter, which is quite nice, although I just use my PC to charge it.

Might want to order a case too. Mine isn't here yet as I ordered from ebay, but hopefully it's here soon enough to protect it.

My Redmi note 2 has arrived.

I have had both the 3g and 4g redmi notes before as they are brilliant phones. Just need to start messing with it now.

Sounds like they avoid the tax by delivering it to France and then sending it from France to the UK, thus avoiding import tax...

I have Google Play Store on the phone atm, but that was the ROM that came with the phone. I believe MIUI 7 doesn't come with it, but you'll be able to install it onto the phone.

Meh, I'm not complaining how they do it

at least I don't have to pay extra. Even if there is an issue, they will cover you.

I am just messing with it Upgrade, just scanned the QR code to make sure it's genuine and it has with flying colours, too many fakes for my liking.
