See the Mi9T (non pro)128gb down to £218 from Gearbest
Please name the seller so others don't get scammed. makes me sick.
Cheers, I hate scammers like everyone else.
Thankfully they were pulled altogether by Amazon not long after my last post, looks like anything up to 300 customers in the space of a fortnight including me were affected - Amazon though quickly acted on my complaint and issued a full refund within a couple of days.
I never did receive anything from the scamming seller despite being issued with a non functional RM tracking number... Though I placed another order via one of their other trusted marketplace sellers for near enough the same money & the Mi 9T finally arrived from them a day later
... However I'm now on the hunt for the correct spec fast charger, as the one I've been supplied out of the box is a standard Xiaomi UK charger Looks like the seller removed the factory supplied EU fast charger to compensate for a UK plug, going by a couple of other recent feedback's left by others on their selling page.
Liam.
I got one of these fast charges my Mi9T pro.

Anyone got an OPPO Reno 6GB/256GB?
Thinking about getting one to upgrade my Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite.
I trailed one out a few weeks ago while deciding on a new daily driver, being a BBK Electronics phone it's essentially the same feel and build quality as a OnePlus - albeit a few quirkier differences, in particular the camera.
As mentioned online - ColorOS 6 is not the best out there in terms of Android skins but I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was optimised with the phone & how smooth general day to day tasks felt. The cameras on these phones are very good, the pop up camera especially is very well built & feels it will last a long time.
Sadly I did end up returning it in favour for the Mi 9T which I've now had for a few weeks and is staying. I really did want the Oppo to be a keeper but Oppo really need to improve ColorOS better overall, and the main negative(s) for me with was the notifications, or lack thereof - oh and the Snapdragon 710. Notifications did trigger the sound chime every time but it was a real gamble as to weather they would display on the lock screen, but then as soon as you unlock the phone, whether or not you have viewed the notifications - they would instantly disappear from the lock screen altogether. To get lock screen notifications working as such took a lot of tinkering on the relevant settings within Oppo.
For the price you pay for the phone, I really feel it should benefit from the 730G chipset at least. The 710 however still mostly does do the job, but I did experience the odd performance stutter or pause after periods of long use and when having a lot of regular apps open in the background. I've also briefly had a play with the Reno2 in CPW which does feature the 730G, and you can tell straight away with how much snappier it feels on that phone.
I think if Oppo as a brand is to really take off properly, they need to at least consider using or at least use a similar version of OnePlus's OxygenOS - as for me, this would be a real turning point. With ColorOS 7 now well on the way, sadly I don't think it will bring many improvements to Oppo phones.
I also see going by the Items Purchased thread over on GD that you have already made a purchase for the Reno, if you need any further assistance or advice then just give me a shout.
Liam.
Oppo Reno 3 range was announced today. Was hoping it might be a cheap new phone (S8+ is showing signs of age in use) but feeling underwhelmed by it.
The next potential one to tempt me away from Samsung is the Realme X50.Yea it's priced too high.
Anyone know where I can get a Xiaomi Redmi K30 from that isn't a China-only version?
