Watching the Mi13/MIUI 14 launch just now. Looks like an extremely nice phone for the price. 3999rmb for the base model!

I’m on the Mix 4 just now and definitely won’t be changing any time soon, but it’s always crazy to me how much computing power we’re carrying around each day.
 
Really wish people wouldn't link to the bloody mobile version of a website. It's nearly as bad as those that link to the comments section when trying to post a news story.

Anyway, neither 13s have an SD card slot - so I'm out.

anyone else had an email from Discovery Plus ref no longer supporting their phone ?

I had one this morning saying no support for Huawei phone (like my P20 Pro) from end of January - won't be able to update or re-install on my device !
 
I know remember why I disabled WiFi calling on my Note 10 Pro. With it enabled I get an annoying notification that I can't get rid of. There's an icon for it in top left next to clock, a notification on notification tray when I swipe top of phone, and also a notification on my lock screen. Nothing I can find in Settings to disable it either. It is same for everyone else? Guessing it's a MIUI thing rather than specific to my model of phone.

That's strange I've got a note 10 pro and haven't got the notifications or icons, I've got WiFi calling turned on.
The only difference I get is when WiFi calling is active it changes from the cell signal to saying.. WiFivol

Yeah I've got the WiFivol in top right too except that mine says VoWiFi probably due to SIM being Vodafone. I am wondering if this notification is a Vodafone thing. Not got another SIM card to try.

Managed to disable the lock screen notification anyway. It is "phone services" causing the icon to appear.
 
Quick Q.

Myself and son have Poco F3. Mines running custom ROM, his is regular one. Zero issues with us.

Just got the missus a Poco F3 for Xmas as she had some brutal Samsung A12 for the past year.

Her Poco F3 will not charge past 80%. She's on newest firmware etc. The other two F3s in the house aren't and no issue charging.

Is there something I'm missing with it? Is it a safety thing or what. I can't find anything in settings. Any help be appreciated.

Have 2 F3s here brand new from Xiaomi no problem charging to 100% on either and both on the latest firmware.
I don't think there is anything in the settings to restrict the battery to 80%.Only thing i think is an app that could restrict charging to 80% like a battery app.Otherwise if it's new i would get in touch with whoever you bought it from.
 
I just dropped my F3 and although nothing cracked the screen gone wierd so I guess the digitiser is bust?

What can I pick up quick from about £150-250 ?
 
Has anyone noticed, if owning a Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro, that if you use a custom keyboard, like SwiftKey, and or another text messaging app, like Chomp, then receiving texts can be hit and miss.?
It can be difficult to notice some missing texts but my regular expected ones can be missing when using another messaging app and I think that also applies if changing the keyboard, not sure why that would be an issue.

Are you all using the same charger. My Bro had a new phone and it wouldn't charge over 80% - turned out to be his old charger wasn't up to it.
