**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

Interesting, on a side note whilst the aesthetics might be contentious the hardware is definitely impressive . Screen, camera, audio, haptics and the snapdragon are first class , oh and the battery is immense.
Are the cams a solid step up over the 12. Especially low light...

Coming from a CMF.... it'll probably blow you away

Never owned a 12 so can't personally make a comparison.

Yeah, whilst the CMF is a solid performer, probably more so for a £150-£200 phone , the OP13 camera feels like it's in a total different tier.

I doubt they targeted/spec'd it for the same potential buyers as the Vivo x pro/Ultra market though so it's not looking to take any crowns camera wise.

Yee of course, but it's missing some bands if I'm correct and also won't have a UK Warp charger in the box.

I bought a OP12 from Wonda and just bought a UK 65W Supervooc charger for £20. It charged the phone in about 30 mins. I was on Three as well and had no problems with signal.

It has all the bands needed for UK and EU also comes with charger
1x Device + OVP, Charger included + EU/UK/AU Adapter, 1x Case

You can always buy better quality 2pin to UK adapter they don't cost much

Use code free for free delivery also if you leave it in basket and browse about site you should get another pop up for more discount coupon for leaving basket

I'm tempted by the one on AliExpress with £90 off coupon making the 16gb/512gb £574 coupons expires tomorrow, but downside might get customs charged and if have issues not sure what support they will provide, trading Shenzhen and wondamobile guaranteed no customs charge and 1 year warranty that will be served

Thanks. Do you UK phone insurance companies cover import phones

Don't have phone insurance so wouldn't know

I'm pretty sure it's in with the price now. I've had a few phones and a android head unit. recently and I'm sure I paid vat on them all when paying.

Depends on the price they declare when buying from AliExpress but still could be hit

Anything declared over £135 and Ali express will automatically add the import duty at the checkout.

I found it the other way round when checking out, I don't get tax added if purchase is like £130+ or more but anything lower tax is added

Not to say the higher purchase won't be taxed it will if it's declared correctly on package and get charged by customs here when it arrives

Hmm, can't say for sure to be honest. Just going by my experience over £135, for instance I purchased a JMGo N1 Ultra projector last year and was gutted when the tax was added at checkout. Would always prefer to run the chance of it sneaking through :)
