**** The Official Chinese Phones Thread ****

Oneplus 13 arrived about 30 minutes ago, opened and briefly setup. Not sure if it's a keeper as this Nothing CMF for £200 is winning me over and punches well above it's weight, but I'll see how the OP13 grows on me. The phone very light , to the point my initial impression was how 'cheap' it felt, almost plastic like. Nice ergonomics though, feels good in one hand and the UI is buttery smooth as you'd expect from the Elite soc. Busy day ahead so i'll use it more later, see what I like and don't like.

Anyway some initial images.

I like the blue vegan leather. The white camera bump does stick out but I'd just buy a skin to match the colour and use that. For my next phone it's between the OP13 and the OPPO Find X8 Pro.

Camera bump is silver, just poorly exposed by the CMF camera. Looked at the black but didn't like the textured back.

I think the Oppo design has went backwards, personally the more Chinese designers can move away from apeing Apple's latest design the better.

Interestingly there was an article out how most companies outsourced their designs, probably to the same damn team. :(

I'll be going with the OnePlus 13 the hardware is similar and with the OnePlus will be able to flash global oxygen rom if going the cheaper route and buying the Chinese version

I think oppo will also go global this time but global price will be more on both

Just seen OnePlus 13 on AliExpress £490 for 12gb/256gb and £575 for 16gb/512gb but I'll wait till oxygen can be flashed before buying

Lol

Due to the hype some people have paid up to $10k to get their hands on this phone and just look at the amazing build quality. And Huawei refuses warranty and asks for $1k to replace the screen lol
