Who did you order it from? I'm getting mine from TopOne and they had on their page that they will install a custom rom which blocks OTA's and add playstore etc if you don't ask them not to. So i asked them to leave it factory sealed and i'll do it all myself to which they were happy with doing.

It speeds things up as well, as otherwise they take a few extra days sending it out as they have to install software etc. So much better me doing it myself straight from the get go.
 
Top one flash the global rom and not a custom rom, it it gets OTA's I have had 2 so far. See my post 1690, that is a video of Top one flashing the global rom.

That's just what it states on the product page right near the bottom they say the flash their own custom rom and it blocks OTA's and to say if you don't want this. They must have changed it then, either way it's still listed that way. :)

Honorbuy, they don't give you the option to stick with stock. Dunno why they just don't use the global rom it comes with the play store included.

I just read it mate and it does need changing, as I said now they come with the official rom.

emui is horrible. i dont know what it is but it doesnt feel right. ive got the honor 7 with emui 4.1 and am dying from some decent roms to be released. 3 roms currently exist but are all based on emui so not really any point flashing hem
 
Just bought a redmi3 pro prime from the auction site for £155. Next day delivery and only a few more pounds than Ali once you include delivery.

do any of these Chinese phone have gyroscope sensors in them? im having an awlful time trying to work it out as there is so much conflicting information about on the web.

looking for something that has FHD, gyroscope & works on 4g B20 800mhz.

any pointer would be great.

Head over to gsmarena to check the specs of any phone.. lists the bands & sensors etc on phones

Pretty much all phones that can display a picture have a gyro in them these days for screen rotation
