I've just turned the carrier notification off. I only wanted to know when I was connected 4G anyway and now for some reason it is displaying 4G up next to the signal strength. It never did that before.... Agreed, boggling! Hahah

Honor 5x or P8 Lite which is the better choice?

Girlfriend's iphone has had one too many falls so need to find her a cheapish android, seems those 2 and the Moto 3rd gen are the top 3...just not sure which one to pick?

Depends what you're looking for. The 5X has a higher resolution display with more PPI, but it's also a 5.5" display which is generally considered too big (especially by women).

Performance and camera-wise, there's hardly a difference between the two, but the Honor 5x does sport a fingerprint scanner and a bigger (3000mAh) battery over the P8 Lite (2200mAh).

Both run EMUI which is probably a good thing since she's coming off an iPhone. EMUI is sort of an awkward in-between look between iOS and Android, and it's a bit more locked down than normal Android versions.

I'm in the market for a new phone and I like the look of that last phone. The price seems crazy @ £96
I assume you get your countries vat on top.
It looks like you pay with PayPal right? So it's basically risk free.
I know the phones not gonna be up there with an s7 but how flakey are they usually on the softwaReside?

I'm totally willin to have a punt on something like this as long as it materialises and isn't a total pos.

Whatever it is it must be better than this s3.

I assume it will have access to the Google play market?

I'm not 100% clued up on this I've only played with custom roms a few times.

Deffo looking into this avenue though. Are there any decent European importers you can link to or sites that specifically talk about these phones.
