im going to let prime run all night. it wont even break 70c... this is nuts for air cooling. the only problem i have is i cant even post when the ram is in dual channel. i have to put them in odd banks just to get to the bios, so all this is in single channel mode. dont know if its the bios, my ram, or just settings....

i noticed in my testing that the i3 at 3.6 gets 7.1, so clock for clock it is a bit better then the e5200- not to mention it can overclock 15% more!

the e5200 on that chart would probably get around 7k @ 3.7ghz... and if you look at the i5 661 @ 4ghz you get a good idea where this i3 chip would be with 4.4ghz. so i guess it is about 7k to 12k when theyre both o/c'd heavily. thats nearly double the score!
i wasnt even able to install windows with the i3 video. i only succeeded installation once i plugged in my 8800gt, but its ok because i wasnt planning on using onchip video.
the are the DE FACTO htpc chips now. imo, you cant build a better system if going from ground up... the only thing its lacking is better onchip video.

Straight in at 4Ghz. Well I tried 3.2Ghz then went straight to 4Ghz.

Won't be getting anything decent from me for a couple of weeks, 'cos im going back to uni to do some exams but I'm not taking my PC with me. Coming back to get that when I've done exams. Plus I need the mounting kit for my Mini Ninja 2.
90C using stock cooler at the moment. I'll leave it for now until I get my mounting kit otherwise the thing will melt!
