***The Official Crisp Thread***

I am in mourning because Aldi have stopped doing their own brand onion rings :( having to make special trips to Tesco's now. And their cheese puffs are hard to find now too. This is actually quite serious.

My onion ring quality ranking.

Tesco>Sainsbury>Aldi>Morrisons>Asda

I felt the same when Sainsbury’s stopped their prawn cocktail shells and jumbo cheese puffs. Both products smashed the granny out of skips and Wotsits.

Been eating quite a lot of Sainsbury’s TTD sea salt and cider vinegar lately. They pack a fair old punch.

Have you tried the posh co op ones? They have a strong flavour.

I had some Taylor’s pickled onion crisps a few months ago, totally ruined my mouth. And honestly it hasn’t been the same since lol. :(

Had some of their beef ones, totally rank as well. The Cheese and onion is really good though, but as is the way now need two packets :(

Home Bargains have a brand called 'Tastee' and they are essentially Nik Naks that come in Cheese or BBQ. Bloody lovely and when I go into town I'll nip in just to buy those. Aldi's Wotsits knock-off are THE best thing next to Wotsits.

been looking for some nice crisps and finally i found some . tesco finest roast beef and horse radish flavour. stunning. not dear either.

These are my absolute favourite of all time!

Used to love Brannigans roast beef and mustard so was really pleased to discover these when they were discontinued.

they are very close. worth trying.
Biggest issue I have had with crisps that "might" be similar to Brannigan's is the thickness of the crisps and the texture. I would love to know if anyone has found an alternative. The Tesco finest have the taste but not the texture. Man I miss Brannigan's.
