** The Official Days Gone Thread **

Watching the videos this just looks very ‘consoley’ It’s hard to explain that comment but it’s just the look and feel of it. I know it’s a port but I don’t get that with other ports.

I’m waiting on worth a buys, this
Game is rubbish video.

There's an older video from 2019 called stop pretending bad games are good, He mentioned on there that he was gonna go out and buy it but watched gameplay videos first and made his mind up then that it was ****! lol Idiot.

I'm enjoying it evening more now the world as opened up and doing more side missions. Those bloody ambushes on the roads though, always happens after I just foxed me bike so gotta fix it again lol

Story is pretty decent so far to.

do the ambush camp hunter missions :P

Graphics are nice, but not breath-taking. Gameplay seems great though which is the main thing.

Gonna start on survival mode as i like a challenge. :)

Days Gone - 6900 XT Performance

As someone who loves SoD2, it is fairly similar.

Your bike has fuel/damage and this must be maintained throughout the game. You can unlock upgrades for the bike to make it take less damage, use less fuel etc like cars do in SoD.

There are safe areas called camps. You can invest resources in these: https://www.ign.com/wikis/days-gone/Best_Camps_to_Invest_In

How to buy guns: https://www.ign.com/wikis/days-gone/How_to_Buy_and_Store_Guns

Earning trust: https://www.ign.com/wikis/days-gone/How_to_Earn_Trust is similar to an EXP bar. You do quests for certain camps, gain trust which unlocks options inside the camps.

Unlike SoD there are no slots in facilities. You just put your resources in and unlock upgrades.

How closely does this game resemble State of decay? I really enjoyed SoD and i feel like this would be similar.

They both have zombies in it, aside from that not a lot really. You do scavenge but there's no base/community building or anything like that.

It's a great game that's well worth a play. For what it's worth I really like SOD as well :p

Same i love SoD and still play it now from time to time. I love how you need to prepare yourself before every outing/adventure and select the right companions or you could end up being pretty overwhelmed! Damn i kinda miss it now, might give it a bash tonight
