im surprised theres not many reviews or none at all concerning this monitor

I love an in-dept review of this monitor, especially gaming wise

Patience. The monitor hasn't reached full retail capacity and Dell do not have review samples. Hence no reviews, yet.

Very tempted to get this monitor. Would love to order from OCUK but a bit more expensive that some other retailers. Any movement on the price?

Also a lot of lovely photos of this monitor here: http://www.chiphell.com/thread-1186728-1-1.html

A bit more expensive.... ocuk are substantially more expensive.

I think in general you've just got to keep your eye on this week/today only deals at ocuk to get things at a more normal price!

To be fair on OCUK they had it up on pre-order before most other sites so probably had to hedge their bets with the pricing slightly. They're currently about 10% more expensive than several other major retailers so definitely need review the current price though.

I'm quite happy as it's looking like the general street price will be closer to £700 than the £900 which Dell were originally charging at RRP :) Gonna order this monitor once it's available!

its nice that is not super expensive
well the curved stuff is still premium but yeh
have you seen dells 5k, I duno if its like a pro art calibrated one or something I saw but wow that's pricey

Yeah, not that at £700 it's a cheap monitor but, for me at least, it's a better alternative to two 27" 1440p monitors which was my other option so I can kind of justify it in those terms given 2 of them would cost about the same.

I had a look at some of the 4k/5k IPS 32" monitors and would have been tempted but the input lag on them is quite high so they're potentially not great for gaming and that's before you get to the £1500 price tag which is way more than I'm comfortable spending :)

the one I saw was 5k and 27inch lol
that's got to be a nightmare with windows scaling

crazy amount of choice this year

That was one of the main reasons I wanted to stick with 1440p for now rather than 4k/5k as Windows scaling is pretty hit and miss just now. Hopefully Windows 10 will improve things.

Will post an update and some pics once my U3415W arrives!
