If it's lv26 I am. Has anyone ever got legendary/exotic gear as a reward for a strike? I've only ever seen blues. Also next question...is there a way to rejoin a strike with randoms if you get disconnected?

Ahh, cheers that's helped.

Had a quick go at PvP with Bladedancer earlier. Arc Blade is insane! On Control you can slice through a group of players sat on a flag before they even have a chance to defend themselves. :D

Keep an eye on the weapons vendor, sometimes he sells rare weapons. I'm not sure if you can buy multiples from him but even if you can't you could still save yourself some time.

I cant continue my exotic weapon bounty until Xur appears on Friday.

How come? do you have to go to him to receive them or is Xur specific to your bounty?

It's one of the parts of my bounty quest chain. I wasn't really sure which weapon to get so I went with the pulse rifle, it was probably the wrong choice but i'm not going to lose any sleep over it. I would have preferred the hand cannon bounty but it wasn't one of my choices.

Ah nice I picked up the same bounty, currently got another 20 or so strikes to to before friday then. That looks a pimping pulse rifle, especially instant reload perk :)
 
Yeah I was just handing in a round of bounties and it popped up suddenly, there must be a small random chance when handing in a bounty whether it triggers.

When I hand in bounties I get vanguard rep, where can I see what my rep is?

I take it this rep is what is required to buy certain things as I often see items that state I need rank 2 vanguard.

Also that moon spot for farming engrams sure is good, got myself 3 blues earlier in the space of 30 minutes!

Patrol missions are faster but you get access to some guaranteed loot doing strikes, so if given the choice I would probably stick with strikes. They're also not as tedious, but the difference is only marginal :p

I'm coming up on lv4 vanguard now :o
