Just thought I go on Holiday on the 15th July, hope the Beta stays open for quite some time!
bungie said:Bungie has announced the specific beta timing for its upcoming "shared-world shooter" Destiny. On July 17, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 players can begin playing the beta, which picks up from the beginning of the game and includes a handful of Story missions, a Strike mission, and a selection of PvP Crucible maps. The beta will then go offline for maintenance on Monday, July 21, and return on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 on Wednesday, July 23. The beta ends on Sunday, July 27.
Collector's Editions detailed here:
Ghost Edition is $150 in the states... sadly in typical GAME fashion they decided okay we'll just charge £150 here.
I'll trying to decide whether to get the Collectors Edition at £149 or the Limited Edition at £95 but at the moment I'm edging towards the £95 Limited edition.. I'll probably change my mind when I get into GAME to pre-order

I used to get suckered in with these 'collectors editions' & 'limited editions' but I've come to realise, they're neither collected or really all that limited.
Game comes in a fancy box or has a tin case, usually comes with a trinket and an art book that you'll flick through once and never look at again, all for £100+?
Think I'll just stick with the standard version of the game & if I put enough time into it, and enjoy it enough, I might buy some DLC as it becomes available.
Will progress in this beta be carried over to retail or will there be a wipe?
