Has everyone decided on their class yet?

As I understand it, all weapons can be used by all classes, the differences begin to emerge in abilities through a progression tree. Its hard to determine the best class. I hate the thought of investing a lot of time in to a class and regretting my choice.

So which will you pick and why?

Warlock for me, I think it suits my play style. I'm hoping blink will be good for Crucible too.

In the full game You can have one of each on the go and it sounds like the level cap is really low.

On PS4 and PS3, the Destiny Beta will begin on July 17th at 10AM PDT.

You can create clans on Bungie.net now ready for the game. Would anybody be interested if I made an OcUK one? Or have we already got one that I could join?

edit: A quick search on their site has brought up an OcUK group but its described as a Halo clan, guess it could be from last gen, has anyone got access to this one?

Yeah figured. Oh well at least I can relax at work. Haven't been this this hype for a game in ages tbh.

So no way I can start the 15GB client download prior to the Beta going live, unless I pre ordered digital through PSN?

I pre ordered through psn and just downloaded the beta, it said it was a 14gb file, then all of a sudden it said it was only 100mb or so. I guess it will download the rest once I launch the game after 6pm.

Jonny did you have access to the Alpha? Could maybe explain the small download...

I did that and looked in the download list and it showed as downloading the full thing in the background, even though the main game icon didn't represent that (no little progress bar)

Ah yeh, I've just gone onto options on the icon and you can see it downloading another 12gb in the background.

The Alpha and Beta are completely separate, the Alpha client can now be removed as it is useless

I know they are seperate and the Alpha is now void, but was thinking that large stuff such as Textures, Music, Videos would remain the same from the Alpha to the Beta so if you had the Alpha still installed the Beta may notice this on install and pass over such files?
