Anyone around on PS4 fancy doing some Queen missions? I've tried soloing them but I seem to come up short.
I love the PvE in this but PvP is so irritating, I feel like I being a Warlock puts you at a major disadvantage and playing with randoms doesn't help. I wouldn't mind but you pretty much have to play the Crucible stuff for the unlocks
Why does Warlock put you at a disadvantage? I play Warlock in PvP a lot, and often come top of my team. It's pretty much a guarantee that you'll get nuked by the enemies super attacks, but it's so easy to get kills with a shotgun in close range, and at longer range, just point your auto-rifle at the enemies head and hold down the trigger. Then when my nova bomb is ready, that's another 3 or 4 kills when the enemy try to spam one of the control points (I mostly play Control).

Get used to using fusion rifles. Pick corridors that are narrow that force the enemy to come straight at you, don't go in large open spaces without cover and if you think someones about to come around the corner back off a bit so you're out of a shotguns kill range.
You can do something similar with a shotgun and playing slightly differently but I find its easier to get kills with a fusion rifle if you're forced to use a void weapon.
Basically you have two options:
Team up and do them with others or do them solo.
If you do the following you should be fine to do them solo.
Start the mission, if its not earth then exit and try again. It might take a few goes but the earth one takes about 10 minutes if that vs 30 minutes plus for all the others.
The earth one has one room of lvl24 guys and a super easy boss vs the others which have hundreds of lvl24 guys and a much tougher boss.

The earth, moon and venus ones are all pretty easy to solo tbh.
Yep, earth one is soooo simple though that I can't bring myself to bother with the others at the moment.
On a related note, I thought you got 3 ascendant shards from deconstructing a legendary armour piece. It seems like its only 2 now...

Green are common guns blue are rare guns and better then you have purple that are legendary.
Different symbols represent the type of ammo used and what armour it will pierce quicker, when you see the colour of shield glow around an enemy choose a gun that matches.
You get something like 3-5 points for a kill and lose 1-2 for a death.
If you're still on 0 after 10 games you are doing something horribly wrong. I was getting 30ish points a game on average (40-50 towards the end as I was getting used to the playstyle) as a Hunter (so no Void damage class skills) using a Shotgun and Rocket Launcher. If I had to do it again I'd use a Machine Gun instead though, really powerful in PvP.

I've noticed when you're using the correct damage type for an enemies shield the hit amounts you take off them match the colour as well, so that's pretty handy!

I just have horrible luck. I played one game this morning for example, 3v3, one guy on our team left straight away, the other guy was absolutely useless. Needless to say when it's 3v1 there's not too much you can do, and that happens pretty much every time I attempt PVP. I''ll stick to control in the future.
